With this post, we’d like to invite you to join us for a Jane’s Walk on Sunday, the 3rd of May 2026.
Jane’s Walks are free urban walks, organised on a voluntary basis in hundreds of cities around the world during the first weekend of May. Inspired by the ideas of author and activist Jane Jacobs, they encourage observation of everyday life and direct public involvement in thinking about urban spaces. These walks aim to create opportunities for exchange, dialogue and active participation in how we experience our cities.
To support this initiative, the Associazione PeP is organizing a Jane’s Walk dedicated to the subject of spatial accessibility. It will be an opportunity to explore the local area together, discuss existing barriers and reflect on how to create a more inclusive city for everyone.
